Fundraiser for STEM Education in Myanmar
In our efforts to support the education of underprivileged youths, Youth Society for Organization (YSE) is collaborating with the Fun and Learn Education Center to organize Myanmar STEM Competition (MSC) and sponsoring charity school(s) to participate in the competition. Through this competition and a learning opportunity, students gain valuable technical skills under the guidance of experienced STEM educators from the Fun and Learn Education Center, which will ultimately prepare them for future careers in the STEM field. For this 2018 school year, YSE will be providing free training for students at ကံ့ေကာ္ေျမမွတြဲလက္မ်ား Charity School at North Dagon in Myanmar to support bright and motivated students to successfully participate in Myanmar STEM Competition.
The materials for the competition, including Lego WeDo products and Arduino sets, cost about $50 (50,000 kyats) per student. YSE is calling for your help in raising the funds for this purpose. Any amount towards this fund will be greatly appreciated by us, and you will definitely be able to impact the lives of hundreds of students at the Charity School.
